Mark Abraham is the Executive Director of DataHaven, a non-profit organization that partners with local and state government agencies, academic and health care institutions, foundations, and community organizations to collect, share, and interpret public information about Connecticut.

In his role at DataHaven, Mark has authored cross-sector reports including the Greater New Haven, Fairfield County, and Greater Hartford Community Wellbeing Indexes. He established the DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey program that has created an unprecedented source of statewide- and neighborhood-level information about community life, public health, economic security, and other topics through in-depth interviews with over 50,000 randomly-selected adults from 2012 through 2024.

From 2014 to 2017, Mark served as a Fellow of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, as part of a national cohort focused on racial equity. Prior to his 2009 start at DataHaven, Mark held management positions in community development, architecture, and business operations in New Haven and New York City. Mark received an “Impact Award” from the Community Indicators Consortium and a national “40 under 40 in public health” award from the de Beaumont Foundation, and was elected to the Executive Committee of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (Washington, DC).

Mark received his MPH in Applied Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health, where he holds an adjunct faculty appointment, and his BA from Yale College.

Camille Seaberry is the Senior Research Associate at DataHaven. In her role at DataHaven, Camille has created or co-authored reports and interactive data resources on issues related to demographics and health equity, including detailed profiles for cities, towns, and small population groups throughout Connecticut. Camille is a lead author of the organization’s Town Equity Reports and Community Wellbeing Index publications.

Camille has experience in data analysis, interactive data visualization development, and research and writing to support a wide range of government and non-profit initiatives. She also has a background in high-school mathematics and STEM education, a skill she has applied at DataHaven to develop data workshops for Connecticut non-profits and educators.

Camille received her Master’s Degree in Data Science from UMBC, and her BS in Physics from Yale University. She also completed the Data Science Certificate program at Harvard University Extension School.

Kelly Davila is the Principal Research Associate at DataHaven. In this role, Kelly leads research and evaluation projects involving analyzing data and explaining findings to DataHaven’s public and private partners. Kelly is a lead author of DataHaven’s statewide health equity reports and Community Wellbeing Index reports. She directs community health assessments, housing studies, and other research initiatives at the organization.

Kelly has more than 10 years of experience working with municipalities and nonprofit organizations on research and planning activities. She works on projects with statewide and national partners on topics ranging from housing to health and economic equity.

Kelly earned Master’s Degrees in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Iowa, and Anthropology from the University of Southern Mississippi. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Kelly obtained a BA degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Carter Shannon is a Research Associate at DataHaven.

Carter has a background in qualitative research and organizing, primarily at the intersections of housing and substance use. Their work is driven by a philosophy of harm reduction and dignity for vulnerable populations.

Carter has experience conducting surveys and data management for various nonprofit and municipal entities in Connecticut. They are the lead author on the DataHaven report LGBTQIA+ Resident Wellbeing in Greater Hartford, released in July 2024, and a lead facilitator of community health assessment focus groups conducted throughout Connecticut in 2025.

Carter holds an MPH in Health Policy from the Yale School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Justice. They also hold a BS in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University.

Andrew Carr is a Data Analyst at DataHaven, where he designs and conducts analyses of public data to support the organization’s Community Wellbeing Index reports and other projects.

Dr. Carr specializes in wealth and income dynamics, income inequality, and income segregation. One of his recent papers, which proposes a new method for measuring income inequality from grouped income data such as what is available in the public portions of the American Community Survey, is published in Sociological Methodology. He previously worked at the Rhodes Information Initiative at Duke University and the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago.

Andrew holds a PhD in Sociology and an MS in Statistics from Duke University. He also has an MA in Social Science from University of Chicago, and a BA in History from Wesleyan University.
